One of my hats is an Advisory Board Member for the Next Gen Network for the UK IBC (UK India Business Council). I thought I would start the new decade blogging resolution (already gone badly seeing as its 11th Jan!) with a little further info on it.
To me India is a huge opportunity all of us. Whatever your interests India has something to offer. In this case India is the home of entrepreneurship. With over 33 milion entrepreneurs; India probably has more than any other country in the world. Not only that by 2025 50% of India’s population will be below the age of 25. A staggering impact for the future of the world’s talent pool.

We had the Board meeting today. Very interesting discussion around the role of the Next Gen Network. I had an interesting chat with Patricia Hewett, who Chairs the Board. We had a room full of many of Britain’s top business leaders from every sector as well as the Indian High Commissioner. We discussed the forthcoming Next Generation Delegation that will happen in February and is sure to be a great success.
